If you could take away, or add one thing to a player that could take them to the next level...what would it be?

For me personally, I think if you give Ben Wallace a jumpshot and the guys a LOCK for the Hall of Fame. No doubt in my mind. That or if you give him another 4 or 5 inches he'd be even more of a monster on D.

(You can also take things away, just not injuries. Like take away 20lbs from Shaq for an example)

If Yao Ming was fast and could withstand lots of running. He'd be an ironman.
add 30 lbs of muscle to Bosh.

or

Add 3 Inches to Arenas.
i wouldn't say ben wallace would be a lock for hall of fame. you have to be able to do it for more than 3 or 4 years...and he is no longer in his prime. if they had a hard time choosing nique to the hall of fame after so many years of excellence, imagine ben wallace...albeit with a jumpshot

He's still playing insane D even at this point in his career.

If he could learn to shoot, his FT would actually be somewhat respectable...even if he could raise it up to 65% range...that's 20% higher than what he's at this season and for his career. That's an easy extra 2 or 3ppg that you'd have to add. And if you gave him a jump shot? Oh man, they could use him like they use Antonio and set some picks with him. For his size he's pretty mobile and has very quick hands. He averages around 10ppg without making a shot past 5ft. That's nuts, you give him a jump shot plus a bit of FT ability he could be near 17ppg. That with his mass amounts of rpg, bpg, spg...he's easily one of the best in the league.
I'm going to state the obvious- tack on five inches to Iverson.
Make Kobe take better shots, and he'd shoot 50% from the field.
A stronger wrist for Shaq for his free throw shooting.
a brain for steve francis

Go NeTs
i say 1 foot to earl boykins
An healthy knee for Amare Stoudemire.

Some muscle for Jamal Crawford.
I'm gonna make this current superstars better:

Earl Boykins= Add a foot and better passing ability
Dwayne Wade= have a long range/mid range shot
Andre Igoudala= should have a long range shot and should be consistent
Yao Ming= have Offensive Intensity
Shaquille O'neal= Add mid-range game and better free throws
Kobe Bryant= Better Shot selection and team play
Allen Iverson= give him some hops and better shot selection
Tim Duncan= give his feet some springs and get him hyped evey game
Tracy Mcgrady= make his back better

Give Yao Iverson's speed and quickness (and stamina) and Yao will be GOAT.

nique waited 1 extra year to make the hall. i don't think they had a hard time choosing him at all.
