Do you think this is really going to help the Suns? I am trying to be opitmistic but, I really don't believe in Bryan Colangelo right now. I am not so mad about the Kidd for Starbury trade, but getting Penny and other moves have not panned out. People will say that signing googs was a mistake, but It wasn't, it was just bad luck. So I am going to be more optimistic, but I am a little cautious about Bryan getting more time to run the basketball team.

Bryan Colangelo is the nepotism-gone-bad poster child. His experience in the NBA, and basketball in general, stems entirely from his father, making him essentially useless and only a vestigial part of the organization. If this organization wants any shot at building a consistent winner, Jerry needs to explore outside candidates to deal with basketball-related activities who have actual experience in the NBA (wouldn't Jerry West have been perfect? who would be better at running a franchise with the core building blocks already in place?). But, until Jerry sells the team (which will happen sooner than you think), we're, as fans, stuck with his son/yes-man who'll make rash, quick-fix decisions and screw the Suns in the long run.
