The Tights Ban?

Just wondering what all the Heat fans take is on this? Since we have two starting players who wear them regularly (Wade, JWill). It just makes no sense to me. Why ban something that helps players be more comfortable? I think this ruling is stupid as hell. Why? What's the point? I don't know who is behind this, probably that ******* commissioner Stern. He needs to be hit in the head with a hammer for being such a worthless piece of garbage.

It would be a totally idiotic move by the league.

I'd understand it if these were just worn because of fashion purposes. But they are used because they keep your legs warm when on the bench. Every player that has worn them, finds them to help them out tremendously. Just look at how great healthwise JWill has been since he began wearing them.

Yes, I saw that brought up by wadeshaqeddie in the nba general thread, a very good point. I'm sure it helps keep his knee from stiffening during games with his tendinitus problems.

I don't see how these leg warmers hurt anybody. Its moronic.

Well i dont the league did say that you could still wear them with a doctors note if you send the note to the league office...But i still dont like how their trying to ban em, they want to ban everythign!

This is stupid, because the tights serve a purpose. The compression helps with injuries or ailments in the form of tendinitis. They also help keep the blood circulating in your legs.

Comon David Stern, give it up already. These new policies are just stupid and selfish.

Yeah and then maybe no more headbands/wristbands. Maybe they should just have all the players wear the exact same shoes. Maybe everybody should have the same exact haircut. Maybe we should start calling Stern Adolf Hitler of the basketball world. :nonono:

It's simply stupidity, the Tights show off a style of Star-like basketball that everyone sees and admires. Colleges and such think it's a negative influence, they need to remember they were kids. I'll Miss the Allen Iverson tights.
