The best team may not win the title. Pistons won the title because they were healthy, the other teams were not.

Recently so many players are injured. Why are the teams playing so hare in the regular season?

Teams play hard so they can get homecourt advantage which can be crucial in game 7's and winning series. Karl Malone and Sam Cassell suffered their injuries during he playoffs too. I don't recall anyone being injured from San Antonio last year; correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not team that is healthy, it's the team that overcomes their injuries.

Pistons were not healthy during the playoffs. Rasheed Wallace had plantar fasciitis throughout the whole thing. Since they won, nobody talke about that, had they lost to say the Nets, people would be saying the only reason the Nets won was because Sheed could barely move.

Come May, everybody has injuries.

Indeed, injuries may well be crucial in many many circumstances.

Imagine Spurs playing Pistons in the final and Duncan gets injured and can`t play the last 7th game!!

The Kings have lost the last few years due to injuries! Webber was injured in some decisive series...
