I am from Kansas City, and an avid Chiefs fan. I know that Tony G is trying out for the Heat and playing in the summer league. Just wondering how the Heat fans think how will he do? He is 6'4",a nd I know he playing as a PF in the league. The GM on a local radio station talked about him on the Heat this summer. He said he will be playing PF. Thanks.

Why wont the Chiefs offer Tony-G aka the BEST TE in the NFL,a MAX contract?
He wants a WR type contact. The Cheifs already offered him a MAX contract for a TE. He is not a WR, he is a TE. If he want to be paid like a WR, he should be a WR.

Lets just tell tony if he plays for the Phins, he can play heat summa league
The Chiefs do not care if he plays basketball. Every summer since joingin the Chiefs, he play basketball in the summer, so basketball is not a contract issue.

Are the Heat that desperate for some publicity in the hopes that they can renew interest in the team?

He will not make the team. I think it is much harder playing basketball/football than it is playing baseball/football.

Actually he did made it......the summer league team though. He still had to make the cuts though tryouts of the summer league team.
