With the emergence of young players in the league I need a consensus of who the people of bb.net consider to be the top 10 players in the league at the shooting guard position injuries notwithstanding.

1. Kobe Bryant, LA Lakers
2. Dwayne Wade, Miami Heat
3. Allen Iverson, Philadelphia 76ers
4. Vince Carter, New Jersey Nets
5. Ray Allen, Seattle Sonics
6. Joe Johnson, Atlanta Hawks
7. Jason Richardson, Golden State Warriors
8. Richard Hamilton, Detroit Pistons
9. Manu Ginobili, San Antonio Spurs
10. Michael Redd, Milwaukee Bucks

Manu has been nearly as productive as last year, difference is he hasn't had any monster games against elite teams like he did in the beggining of last season (Suns game as a glaring example). Yes he has been injured, but still productive despite his limited minutes and injuries.

I hope Gordon's not a top 10 shooting guard in the league. He's on his way, but he is a litlte too one dimensional. He doesn't really create much for his other teammates, and he is a pretty good scorer, but also has huge stretches where he misses too many shots, or isn't taking shots, and if he isn't making shots at this point, he is really useless to even have on the floor. He is an average defender. He is on his way to stardom, but he's not a top 10 shooting guard in the league yet, maybe next year, he's improved, just not at that caliber of play yet.

Personally I dont think Ray is having a better season than Vince
I'm not basing my opinion solely off stats. Just showing.

Vince Carter: 24.1 ppg 5.9 rpg 4.3 apg 43.3% FG 34.8% 3PT

Ray Allen: 24.7 ppg 4.2 rpg 3.5 apg 44.8 % FG 39.9% 3PT

The truth is that it's debateable either way, and not worth pointing out. To me, Ray is having the better season, so I list Ray above Vince.
