Well 84, I’ve been busy building a privacy fence and new deck, plus work has been a bear. I love building stuff and can do it well, but I’m reaching that age where it makes too much sense to pay someone to do it.

I also spent a few days in the hospital. All tests came back normal, but my cardiologist says I am out of shape, and actually believes two drinks a night is too much. What a dick.

I plan on making more consistent contributions going forward.
Well Jaffie, I can relate. Maybe fist bumps, or bro hugs are in order.

You need one of those millennial hearts there, Jaffie, bleeding as they might be.

The song might have been “Landslide”.

I’m just grumpy SJHawk, but I don’t see any teams separating themselves and we’ll just beat the hell out of each other. I haven’t looked closely at other teams OOC schedule, but UD’s is going to be a bitch. Auburn on the road. Tulsa at Mohegan. Miss State at home and a loaded Battle 4 Atlantis. We could easily be 1 and 5 in these games and then go in to conference play where there isn’t going to be a top 25 or possibly a top 50 RPI team.

Ya, as JAF said, if Dayton finishes 10th or worse this year then I hope Grant fires himself.

League is down this year even more than last year. VCU is in full rebuild mode at least for this year, SBU lost some stout guards, Duq has 55 new players. I think Davidson and GMU could be fairly tough but yup....2 bids. Dayton ain't one of the two but a Top 4-5 finish isn't out of the realm of possibility.

If those 2 make it in then the A-10 will have 3 bids, the conference winner plus DAV and GMU, because neither one of them will win the conference!

Do you have any room left for preseason championship trophies - I mean you dominated that from like 2000 - 2012 :yesyesyes:

Yes, dominated during the mediocre Gregory years for sure. I can't recall predicting too many preseason titles under Archie and def not under Grant. Probably predicted one under Archie and that being his final year.

Damn. Good one Knobby. You knocked it outside of the park buddy.
There are times I miss the absolute lunacy of Muddy - then there are times I really DO NOT miss him.

The preseason Championship claims were among my favorites however....

I would take a 6th place finish in the A-10 right now after the years of darkness and underachievement we lived through with Kellogg.....

Depending on how long it takes for this team to gel (the transfers), we may not be a fun team to deal with by the time the conference season rolls around....

^ I'd be happy with it too but having UMass at #88 doesn't change the fact that Joel Welser, whether a virgin or not, has dubious authority on who the top 144 teams are. I'm not sure anyone could really do a convincing top 144.
Any press is good press........ especially when you have been an afterthought for so long.
