1-Kobe Bryant

2-Allen Iverson

3-Tracy Mgrady

4-Ray Allen

5-Paul Pierce

How on Earth can you put Rip Hamilton and Cuttino Mobely on that list, especially Cuttino, he is sooooo overated it disgusts me. Atleast Rip can play D.

Being able to play D has little to do with how well you shoot though. Sometimes it even seems there is an inverse correlation.

I think the question had to do with SG's who were the best shooters, hence Rip and Cuttino. I'll go with:
Ray Allen
Michael Redd
Rip Hamilton
Fred Hoiberg
Brent Barry (I'm not gonna let one bad season knock Brent out of the top 5. The man can fill it up.)

Ben Gordan
Michael Redd

This season? This season AI doesn't play SG, T-Mac doesn't play SG, LeBron doesn't play SG.

So for this season, it should go something like this:

1. Kobe Bryant
2. Dwyane Wade
3. Paul Pierce (he played SG for most of the season with Jiri at the SF)
4. Ray Allen
5. Larry Hughes (only person I could think of)

Its funny to see Rip get no respect, he is considered by many to be one of a very few in the league that can actually hit a mid range jumper. His 3 isnt there but I would defenitely have to put him in top 5 along with Ray allen, Redd, Kobe, and Pierce.

i forgot about pierce. he's improved his overrall game big time this year under doc rivers. he's close to rip as far as a midrange game, and he's cut down on the threes big time this year but can still shoot them at a high percentage. pierce has been flying under the radar this season, not the dominant player he was a few years ago, but a smarter, more team player.

1. Ray Allen
2. Michael Redd
3. Reggie Miller(fading shot as he gets older)
4. T-Mac
5. Larry Hughes(FG% doesn't show it since he had to carry Washington all of last year and parts of this year)

Its almost pathetic how much people Hate Kobe these days, its getting out of hand. Like i dispise Tim Duncan, T-Mac and Mike Bibby. But i never say they are bad players, there is no doubt Kobe is in the top 5 of 2 guards. Jeez, you haters are insanely bias.

Allan Houston
Reggie Miller
Kyle Korver
Steve Nash
Ray Allen

woops, Nash isn't an SG, but he has a pure shot.

Thanks. I have duly reprogrammed myself. I shall never make this mistake again.
