I'm more of a Lakers fans than anything but I think Toronto got the good end of the deal in this trade. They get a good backup point ugrad incase they loose Childs or Trade away Williams. They got a great prospet in Jeffries would could develop into a great player.

Hunter is a 2 guard and a 6'2" 2 guard! He can't shoot unless he is wide open and he has averaged 3 WHOLE assists per game lifetime - as a supposed PG. To me, he is not a back up anything.

To my way of viewing this "trade", the Lakers made out like bandits!

lol, he is playing PG for us buddy. He has to because we have no intention of resigning Chris Childs and Alvin will be our starter so he will actually be filling in both positions rotating depending on the lineup the koala (lenny) has out there.

otherwise I think now Toronto has made out the best from the deal. When the trade happened I was goin on a rampage, that we should fire everyone bla bla bla. Now I think its good, because Chris Jefferies was gonna be a lottery pick if he wasn't injured. Saying that, we filled a need at SF because we don't really have a deep SF spot. Hunter is gonna be great for us, because he helps us fill the PG position while also providing depth at the 2 spot.

we filled 3 of our needs.

1. sign a back up for alvin.......done
2. provide depth at the 2 and 3.....done
3. save some money if possible to sign keon......done

So what he averaged 3 assits. I think the Raptors got the better end of the deal for a simple reason. Tracy Murray has no up-side IMO if he's on fire he wont miss but when he is off trust me he couldent finish a lay-up.

Chucky Atkins started for the Detroit Pistons who won the Central division and only averaged 3 assits. Does that make him a bad point guard?. Hunter does not have to average any assits that's not what he's here for, He is in Toronto to give leadership to a fairly young team, He is there to give Alvin a rest and to not make any rookie mistakes that a Dikau or Williams would have.

That part is a givin as far as who is gonna be better Jeffries or Rush I'm not saying anything till I have seen the play for a couple of years. This trade was much better for the Raptors then people are giving them credit for.
