I concur. It is zany. Pollard and croshere looked good against us, but how do they play against the rest of the league?

How can we trade Jay's contract? Wasn't it bought out?

Never mind, I just read Basghetti's thread on it. Still, seems pretty shady. The Bulls kind of "retain first shot" at Jay if he ever returns... that's kind of a weird clause to have if he were officially under contract with the Sixers, no?

This can be interpreted as nothing else than a hostile bid for my U Haul shareholding

Chicago trades
Brunson
Atlanta trades
Ekezie

(B/C the Hawks might want another crappy PG and we need a Fizer replacement)

Chicago trades:
Ekezie
Toronto trades:
Roger Mason

(B/C the Bulls could use a young SG and the Raps need a big guy)

Toronto trades:
Ekezie
Atlanta trades:
Brunson
(B/C the Raps need a PG now that Rose is hurt, and the Hawks need a big guy)

Chicago trades:
Roger Mason
Atlanta trades:
Rick Brunson

(B/C we want experienced players and the Hawks want youth)

Atlanta trades:
Roger Mason
Toronto trades:
2nd round pick

(B/C the Hawks reall don't care about Mason, they'd be happier picking someone)

-----------------

It all perfectly makes sense to me:

Final score:
Chicago trades Rick Brunson
Chicago gets Rick Brunson

I don't mind Pollard. He is a decent back up center when he gets playing time. Croshere, I'd pass on. I could see Indiana doing this deal.
