As a resident of Georgia and diminishing fan of the Dawg Nation, I am certainly surprised that Gibbs is headed to Athens. With so much talent in the Peach State, it's good to see some of the top talent staying close to home.

I guess Cincy wasn't so close as everyone thought! Oh the beauty of college recruiting.

Hey as a resident of GA I was wondering what you thought of Brent Petway who recently commited to Michigan.

UNCStateGuy - Nice one. :laugh: He's a full qualifier.

k2 - I really like Brent a lot. I spoke with him quite a bit at the Peach Jam. He's a down to earth kid but with an out of this world jumping ability. He is one of the best leapers of this class.

There is still a lot of room to improve though. He's only 6-7 but plays around the basket. He did say that his HS coach plays him on the wing. He'll need to develop more strength and some range on his shot in order to become a solid player. But again, he's a great kid from a good family and unbelievable athletic ability.
