Maine just picked up a late de-commit from Boston University......6-0 G Jaycie Christopher of Skowhegan HS. She was the Maine Gatorade Player of the Year in girls basketball as well as Miss Maine Basketball & Miss Maine Softball....a first for a girls athlete in the state.

Non-conference schedule released yesterday....

Awesome mid-major women's schedule.

Yale, NU, Princeton, Fordham and Army at home.....in Orono.

Neutral site vs. Kansas plus Gonzaga, JMU, UMass, URI and more on the road. Hoping for a return game from Gonzaga next season!

That really is a great schedule. While it doesn't have the big "name" schools on it, it is loaded with very good/excellent mid-major programs featuring the majority of top ones in the northeast. Gonzaga is an elite program that seems to be a Sweet Sixteen contender every year. It would be awesome to have them come to Orono!
