Garang and Edwards should both have graduated by now. I don't know if they were honored on Senior night or not. I wouldn't be surprised if Yaw and the rest of the seniors graduated.

I hope so, we could use the space. Seems like a really well-liked teammate via his appearances on their socials but definitely does not seem to have D1 basketball talent. It's possible he did prior to injuries.

I LOVE this get. A couple days ago while searching the portal, I actually looked into him funny enough.

Had a fantastic year for a surprisingly decent Chicago State last year.

Has a nice shot profile, and a good 3 point shooter with decent volume. Has some room for improvement finishing at the rim, but of course there will be some areas of needed improvement for a player coming to UMBC. Still has 2 years of eligibility, so looking forward to seeing him develop a bit more too.

I think a good comp for Johnson is LJ Owens, with less mid range game (I'm good with that) and much more vertical leap and better ball-handling (two things I'm also good with). Owens was a better 3 point shooter, maybe, but the positive growth in Johnson's 3 point game is promising.

If Yaw stays, I can actually see a starting 5 shaping up a bit in Valentine/Johnson/Brown/Sapp/Obeng-Mensah. We shouldn't need to start that group with 3, likely 4 spots still to be filled, but feel happy with Johnson.

I don’t know how good Efinda or Gardner are but my guess is we have two more transfers coming rather than freshmen.
