Do you think it is unfair that they held the MWC in Las Vegas. It is the same town of UNLV and I think it is an unfair advantage for them. I think they should of tried to make it more of a neutral site.

Conference tournaments are about making money for the conference.

There not going to be it at a neutral site with less interest.. come on now.

The SEC played in Atlanta, the ACC in Tampa. Atlanta is the center of the SEC. It's easy for fans to get to... and Tampa, well who wouldn't want to go to Tampa in March to watch basketball? Same for Las Vegas. Who wouldn't want to go there? Having the conference tournaments in cities like this generates a lot of revenue for the conference. I guess they could have had the MWC tourney in Tampa but I doubt that a lot of fans would show up.

How many people are going to travel to Wyoming to watch MWC basketball?

Someone was once asked for directions to get to Laramie.

"From Denver, go north until you smell it; then go east until you step in it."
