"He now has pain in his left knee, too, possibly from compensating to protect his right knee.

Penny Hardaway most likely will replace Houston in the starting lineup Friday night at Boston. If Houston is sidelined through the All-Star break, he'll miss seven games.

"I believe this is a good time to do it," Houston said. "When you look at (seven) games over the whole season, that's not a lot of games."

The injury has clearly bothered the sharpshooting guard - he missed 16 of 21 shots over his last two games."

I dont think it'll be that bad- I agree with him that it is a good time to do it though

Fortunately the Knicks have a lot of depth. I won't mind Penny or Anderson getting the minutes with Norris there too.

Anderson always seems to have his best games as a starter, so maybe they should give him the starts if he's fully healthy.

The only bad news is that he'll probably miss Boston, Indy, Dallas, and New Orleans, teams that the Knicks will need him to beat.
