Apparently Van Exel and Dampier can opt out of their contracts at the end of the season. However, I don't see Van Exel opting out, and if Dampier does he would want a lot more money. As I've stated before, I only would agree with this deal if they included Dunleavy or one of their other prospects.

yes they can.. as a player option. They can be free agents this summer.

But do you really think they will? I think if they do they will forfeir lots of dollars, at least in NVE case...

Dampier seems to not have too high a contract.

If they do, its to move to the team of their choice IMHO

Also, IMHO there will not be a GS trade, at least the one rumored.
