chris jeffries wouldnt have been a lottery pick unless he played for duke

lindsey hunter will provide many things like leadership and assists but not scoring

deangelo collins sounds like a good prospect, but he will not backup the forwards. This year, hes gonna back up n'diaye and montross and hes gonna learn. In the future he could make an impact, but definitely not this year. He might not even make it past training camp

I HOPE KEON STAYS!!!!! but the raps arent even gonna offer a contract and they might not match. If not lets get olowokandi in a sign and trade and get marshall for bradley and jyd

C- Olowokandi/ Olajuwon/ Montross/ Polynice???
Olowokandi will learn from Olajuwon and be the 2nd scoring option. If Clark resigns, its the same as kandi

PF- Davis/ N'Diaye/ Collins/ Stewart
Am I missing someone?? depth here is not good, but davis can play 40 mins a game

SF- Mo Pete/ Jeffries
Look for Jeffries to start at midseason because of defense so mo pete could be a sparkplug off the bench

SG- Carter/ Curry/ DeeAndre Hulett?????
Carter could play the whole game, Hulett would be nice as a shooter who could move, unlike curry

PG- Williams/ Hunter/ Jackson
OK combo, i want a better PG if AW doesnt show anything this year

Welcome to BasketballBoards, ViNSaNi7y. I agree with most of your post, but the Raptors have already given Keon the qualifying offer. If the Raptors sign him to a 2 year deal at the midlevel exception or a bit above that, then we can pay him more later because Yogi and Hakeem's contracts will be up then.

As for Marshall, the Bradley and JYD trade would be a steal for us, and I don't see how Utah would do it unless they see something in Bradley that the rest of us don't.

I think Utah laughed at the Hakeem thing but it sounds like that it's JYD and Bradley.

All I can say is that our team looks a lot less frightening than it did a couple months ago.

I hope GG is going to pull a sign and trade with a team. I really do. Almost all teams are over the cap basically meaning they need to do a S&T.

Micheal Bradley sucks, I think we should trade away Eric Montross, he eats ****!!! Him and Bradley suck and I hope we can get Olowkandi but I don't think so because he thinks he's a star and he would be overshawdowed by carter.

Bradley makes $1 million. Montross makes $2 million. I don't mind those, but I really want to trade JYD, who makes nearly $6 million and Hakeem, who makes over $5 million. Hakeem is the sole reason why we couldn't re-sign Keon, and JYD is just plain overpaid for a cheerleader. He is a tough hustler and great rebounder, and he does get the fans in the game, but all his points are garbage points, coming off dunks and layups. He doesn't deserve more than $3.5 million IMO.

i strongly agree... Jerome Williams is OVERPAID for what he does...

Hakeem was a signing mistake... 5 million could of been used to sign keon clark

alvin williams is OVERPAID... this guy cant play point guard!!! he does nothing more than dribble up the court and passes off. Doesnt create, average passer, average shooter, above-average defender... should be paid 3-4 million..

Eric Montross is a servicable big man

M.Bradly is too early to be judged.... but from the time u played, u doesnt look to promising.

Yogi Stewart... damn... would i LOVE TO SIT ON THE BENCH AND MAKE 4 MILLION a year!!! what a job!!!

Mamdou started playing basketball late, maybe around age 16, so he's learning the game still. He has been working with Hakeem on foot work and shots so he just needs time. Bradley is good and just needs to build confidence.

And I said Mamadou didn't seem lost! That's only helping my argument. Also you're right - Hakeem probably did teach him a little, but the fact is he didn't need a seeing eye dog on the court, and Bradley did.

Which they will, but this was more in response to Vince's Claim that he was gonna wreck havoc on the league. I agree he has to an extent.
