Not again! Another RB goes down

Walter Williams left practice Thursday with an injured hamstring, the Packers announced through their injury report. His availability for Sunday's game is not immediately known.

Williams was signed to the team's 53-man roster in late October after Ahman Green was lost with a season-ending quadriceps injury. Playing behind Samkon Gado and ReShard Lee, Williams did not get any carries last Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers but caught his first NFL pass for 19 yards.

The coaching staff hoped that Williams, who they re-signed on Oct. 25 after releasing him at the end of training camp, would serve as the third-down back. Head Coach Mike Sherman said any one of their running backs, including William Henderson, could occupy those duties from now on.
