He is currently playing for the Warrior's summer league team, along with Gilbert Arenas, Troy Murphy, Steve Logan, Mike Dunleavy, and Jiri Welsch. Arenas loves this guy and thinks he can be a great asset to the team. A "Vlade Divac" player he says. A tall guy who can shoot and pass. The Warriors must have at least 4.5 million to sign this restricted free agent, as Dallas will match the offer. How about Danny Fortson for Wang? Your thoughts?

I personally think he will be a great fit to the team and boost ticket sales. The outside shooting helps also. I think we should trade Fortson for him. Wang could probably play 3 positions: SF, PF, and C. We need that versatility.

I'd do Fortson for Wang in a heartbeat but then we are still log jammed at the 4. Or would Wang play 5?
What happens to Murphy? Very interesting none the less...

If you guys got Wang-that would be a huge boost to you because he is big shooter who can play several positions...when I heard he was in LA-I was hoping he would play for the Lakers summer league team, but obviously you guys have the better shot of getting him.

I wouldn't mind getting another big man that has some skills and can shoot

Even though he plays a bit soft..

This guy needs some confidence from the summer League.
Once he knows shooting 3 is not the only thing he can do...... he would be an Asian Version Dirk.

That would be a stretch. I don't see Wang being anything more than a role player. I'm not too fond of centers who don't like to play defense.
