but seriously look at the roster/depth going into next year, and how well they've been playing lately against good teams, I wouldn't be surprised

Yeah, it certainly looks like they will right now. They've played really well against two elite Western Conference teams over the last few days. Their roster looks good for next year because almost everyone is coming back, except the dead weight (Cheaney, Skita, and Rodney White are not on contract for next year). The Warriors will add a top 7 pick to their roster as well, which should help them even more. Their young players (Pietrus, Zarko, Biedrins) are all solid. The future looks bright for G-State.
