This is the worst I remember since 2006. GW was an at large but only because they didnt lose until the A10 quarters. Their OOC was garbage. That GW team wasn't anything better than SLU or full strength Dayton.

You nailed it, third- doesn't matter if you consistently underperform as a conference year after year in the OOC.

Richmond, Dayton, Bonnies, VCU and SLU all had a bunch of coulda woulda shouldas in OOC last year that made a difference in 1 at large vs multiple. Changing the # of conference games wont impact the results. It either gets done out of OOC or it doesn't, sure as hell hasn't this year.

As an aside, since the A10Talk board of ours is deader than Zoolander's dead mother, we rolling it up into here?

Holy shit we are bad. Did that 4 game win streak earlier in the year actually happen?

Why has Barry Evans evaporated from the lineup? Just can’t risk taking out one of the other guys who will lose the ball in traffic or even get it stolen from them while TRYING TO SLOW a fast break?

A goose egg again in the lineup tinkering department. Locking everyone into place has worked so well that we’re losers of 5 of 6 and 4 in a row. Let’s go for 5 in a row next week!

Merry f’n Christmas.

BI85, it was a fluke, for reasons you said- but our overall game was still better than this nonsense vs ND, as it was in that entire stretch prior to the UB game. Since that UB game, the second half of Cleveland State is the only time we haven't looked like garbage.

Every shot UNI hit over the final 5 minutes to hammer it home were created by backdoors and ball movement. The cruel irony that our coffin was nailed shut by plays our offense is incapable of making was not lost on me. The inability to defend it pissed me off just fine too.
