I am not referencing anything other than the stagnant offense. Staring at the dribbler and standing around the perimeter. UNI is doubling and even tripling the post on Venning. Is ANYONE going to cut opposite toward the rim? It's what Sol's teams looked like on offense.

Also, when is the last time we had a catch-and-score bucket, sans dribbling, out of a set or off someone else's penetration? It doesn't happen anymore. Everything is grubby ass Franchot Park iso ball.

Why has Barry Evans evaporated from the lineup? Just can’t risk taking out one of the other guys who will lose the ball in traffic or even get it stolen from them while TRYING TO SLOW a fast break?

Ha! Flowers slows the ball down on a fast break and it still gets stolen. I like Flowers but yeah that was a microcosm of just how had we are.

ND was a fluke. Shots fell. We did defend though amd ND was a little off. But it was not a great game. Go back and watch it. I have, twice. Some shots don't fall and that's just another close but no cigar game.

Congrats to the Spiders and the Rams of Richmond anyway.

BI85, it was a fluke, for reasons you said- but our overall game was still better than this nonsense vs ND, as it was in that entire stretch prior to the UB game. Since that UB game, the second half of Cleveland State is the only time we haven't looked like garbage.

Every shot UNI hit over the final 5 minutes to hammer it home were created by backdoors and ball movement. The cruel irony that our coffin was nailed shut by plays our offense is incapable of making was not lost on me. The inability to defend it pissed me off just fine too.
