I just noticed that the Blazers turn their opponents over the least of any team in the league. They force turnovers on only 12.3% of their opponents' possessions. The second worst team in this stat (the Lakers) force turnovers on 13.5% of possessions. In other words, it's not even close.

For comparison purposes, the Miami Heat lead the league in this stat (meaning they force the most turnovers) at over 18.7% of possessions.

The Blazers average just under 98 possessions per game. The Heat average just over 95. This means that the Heat basically squeeze 6 more possessions out of their opponents each game despite playing at a marginally slower pace.

Both the Heat and Blazers have identical 27-9 records as of this morning.

The difference is that Portland doesn't turn the ball over much. Despite not turning teams over a lot, they don't get turned over a lot, either.
