The Brooklyn Nets rescinded their qualifying offer to Mirza Teletovic, enabling him to become an unrestricted free agent and sign with any team that expressed interest in the forward.

Shortly after Billy King’s kind gesture, the Pheonix Suns signed the career 36.2% three-point shooter to a 1-year, $5.5 million deal.

Teletovic, 29, averaged 7.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in 165 games with the Nets. His outside shooting will definitely be missed.
