We are 28-13 at mid season at our current pace we would end the season at 56-26. Which is kind of amazing prior to our current winning streak we were 16-13 and struggling. I will guess that we end up 52-30 but most importantly we need to catch the pacers so we can be the #1 seed in the east.

I'm impressed with our record so far. I had presumed we would fall off the pace a bit since we have 2 new starters and a new coach.

If the playoffs were to start today: January 25, 2004

#1 Indiana
vs.
#8 New York

#4 New Orleans
vs.
#5 Milwaukee

#2 New Jersey
vs.
#7 Boston

#3 Detroit
vs.
#6 Toronto

Although I think Indiana would prevail in a matchup with New York, the Knicks could prove to be a formidable oppenent. I don't know if I expect them to stay in that #8 spot though.

Our matchup with Toronto would also be tough, provided Vince Carter is healthy. The acquisitions of Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshall have also improved them greatly.

Milwaukee is a .5 game out of home court advantage for the first round. Terry Porter has to be a frontrunner for Coach of the Year.
