All this talk about Jay Williams, Andre Miller and Baron Davis. Why not throw everyone a curve and outbid the Kings for Mike Bibby? The Kings payroll next year without Bibby stands at $55.6 million. If they pay him the max their payroll jumps to $65 million+ and that means they're staring at a huge luxury tax penalty. Will the Kings do it? Maybe. But all Jalen needs to do is speak to Bibby through their mutual agent, David Falk, and try to guage Bibby's interest in Chicago.
All I'm saying is if the Bulls are genuinely interested in Miller and Davis and the impending max contracts that comes along with them, why not just go out and sign Bibby? Something to think about.
