The Heat trade Brian Grant to Seattle form Vladimir Radmanovic and either Jerome James or Vitaly Potapenko. The Heat would be giving up their best interior defender but gets back a young promising 6-10 player who can really shoot the ball. Ideally the Sonics would give up James in the trade but in today's NBA an expiring contract is very valuable. I would be willing to take Potapenko depending on the lentgth and size of his contract. Seattle gets a tough big man who can drain the open shot. The next step for the Heat would be dumping Eddie Jones (Easier said than done).

Nice idea for the Heat, but I don't see Seattle giving up Radmanovic for Grant.

Well, Radmanovic doesn't really seem to fit in with their plans. They already have ton of shooters in Allen, Lewis, Barry etc but lack toughness in the lowpost. They would also be getting rid of a bad contract in James or Potapenko.
