What happened to Dan Dickau?

Yeah he is gone for the season with a torn achilles. He wasnt playing that great in Boston except for his shooting abilty.

Dickau was in his prime at Gonzaga. He has been pretty lucky to have 3 years in the NBA. He was drafted as the last guy in the first round(guaranteeing him a 3 year contract if I'm not mistaken.) He then played on the crappiest teams in the league (Atlanta, New Orleans) so it was harder to get a gauge on his worth, since he is a team player. Then he goes to Boston and can't beat out Greene for the 2nd string PG spot, so he ends up as a 3rd string with no playing time. The dude was lucky to have been picked late first round, otherwise he would have been gone after the first year.

I liked him a lot, but it just shows that it's hard to be slow and small and be in the NBA. It's damn near impossible. It's a testament to his work ethic and determination that he got this far.

Even though all your comments were funny, Dickau played like **** the time he was in. Don't go all statistical on me, but Dickau was garbage this year for the C's.

How did Orien Greene make it to the league?
I'm not saying he's a bad player or anything (every time I see him on tv he appears to be contributing) but I saw him play as a freshman at Florida and he didn't standout a bit.

I am easily Dan Dickau's biggest supporter...

He's back home "rehabing" aka banging his hot wife...
