Everybody's expected to get J.Will, but with Krause you'll never know...I've heard about talks trading the pick to the T'Wolves for Szcerbiak a long time ago, lol, so anything goes...I'm still expecting the unexpected, but i'm desperately hoping we get JWill, the best point guard in years

Krause is in love with E-Rob; he isn't going anywhere. If I'm Krause, I pick J-Will and just get out of NY so I'm not tempted to do anything like trade the pick....

After puking all over myself, then beating my neighbors dog and crying to whomever will listen, I would pray I was having a bad dream.

Bottom line, only one player appears worth more than Jay WIlliams and that is Yao Ming. Even that is highly questionable.

If you had told me that we could have Jay Williams and Eddie Curry last year I would've traded Brand myself.

If we are going to settle for Dunleavy than take the trade for Odom and 8. That way, you get a bonafide Player (lots of baggage, plus a vet is something the team needs and Rose wants) and at 8, Krause gets to show off his "scouting" skills and take another player that would appear at this point to be only a fraction less than DONE-LEAVE_ME-OFF-YOUR-DRAFT-CARD.

I don't care how smart he is, who his dad is, he doesn't excite me one bit. I've come to dread draft day and the weeks after. I wish I could just enjoy the thought of the plater we selected staying with our team and not worrying about what kick to my system is coming from J.K.

Dunleavy will be a fine player who contributes to a team for many years....I just pray it's not as a Chicago Bull. If it is, we blew an opportunity to make us great by trade or by Jay.

We have our Center and PF for the next decade, getting our PG for the next decade seems fine with me. Then, working on JC to become a combo G for the next decade is even better. For that matter, I believe JWILL and Crawford could be our gaurd combo for the next 10 years.

Then grab Grizzard at 30 and we will have our sf for the next decade groomed by our sf of the next 4 years.

That sounds good to me if the Bulls draft Dunleavy. That'll be just perfect for us Grizz fans because I'm hoping Butler falls in our hands. There's been talk in Memphis that West wants Dunleavy but, I'm hoping that doesn't happen because I haven't seen much to his game. I don't know where all of this hype is coming from about his game but, he always seemed like an average college player at best. So hopefully, if not the Bulls, someone that's ahead of us in the draft, take this guy so he doesn't fall in our hands.

nice to see you here, Chifanica

it looks like more and more regulars from Real GM are creeping in here... not a bad thing

i kinda feel your overreacting a bit about Dunleavy becoming a Bull...

I personally would be pretty happy if he ended up in a Bulls Uni this next season - but not if he's selected AHEAD of Jay Williams

if Jay is available at #2 and Krause passes on him, i'll feel it was a waste of value. if Dunleavy is drafted by the bulls at a lower pick -- via trade, then I'll be quite happy with Dunleavy, and whatever else the trade reaps.

but, if it's Dunleavy or JWill straight up, no question in my mind, it's gotta be Jay

Wishbone,

I agree with you and maybe didn't make it clear....I would puke if it was Dunleavy instead of Jay Williams (who is available).

If Williams is gone (please Lord no!) I think Yao will be Krause's guy. The reason I want Williams to be available is that it gives us the most flexibility. We can draft and keep Jay (which would be fine with me) or we can ransom him to the team most willing to overpay for him.

Either way we seem to win.

I guess I kind of go back to last year prior to the end of the season and everyone hoping Williams would come out and we'd get the first pick of the draft and take him.

I think of how incredible it would be to have gotten Curry and Williams together. I don't count Chandler because we gave up quality to get future quality. I do think that it is just one more reason I am willing to trust in (ugggh, dare I say it) Krause.

I think if both are available you have to take Williams. Hell, even if Ming and Williams are available you have to take Williams (atleast my opinion).

Go Bulls...........

Hurry up with the draft already!

I agree that JWill is the pick if available at #2.

However, If he is gone I think Krause will go with Yahoo Ming..........but will he keep him ?

I hope to hear "With the first pick the Rockets select Yahoo"

For the Wagner lovers, I think comparing 1 year in the NIT Tournament to 4 years in the NCAA Tournament (not to mention winning the championship) is ridiculous. Tell that to the folks at Maryland.

You have no idea

If we had the #1 pick in the draft, we would pick Yao Ming.

Jerry Krause would pick Ming over Williams, because of two reasons:

1) Yao Ming is the most talented prospect in this draft. He can do things that no one his size has ever done. This is not lost on Krause who has been to Shanghai numerous times. I am expatriated to Shanghai and one of my close friends is an executive for Adidas who has it that the Sharks have tried to work out something so that Chicago would get Ming -- to no avail.

2) Krause's job is to make money for the Bulls organization. It is to win championships but also to make money. The draw that Yao Ming would have including marketing power and television rights is incomprehensible. The fact that building a championship team AND picking Yao Ming are in fact complementary make him the #1 pick by far. In Jerry's mind, Yao Ming would help us build a championship dynasty more than Jay Williams would. PG's are a dime a dozen. 7'6" Centers who can revolutionize the sport are once in a lifetime. This is not lost on Jerry.

So this talk about who we would pick should JWill go 1st (he won't) and whether we'd keep Ming is moot. Jerry Krause's wet dream is that Yao Ming falls to #2.

As for Dunleavy -- screw him. I can't believe we're even talking about him. Yao Ming can do everything Dunleavy can, only he's younger, almost a foot taller and shoots, rebounds, and blocks better.
