Just curious what you guys think I was talking to a friend about the Wizards and I said we need to get this player and he said I shouldn't say we as if I played on the team. He said we only applies to people in the organization he made a good point but I pointed out that sense I'm a fan that has spent money on game tickets ,concession stand, team merchandise that I was entitled to call the team we,after all a Team is nothing without it's fans ask the Vancuver Grizzlies if fans don't support, teams will move to more favorable locations, what yall think.

hmmm.

I have to say no, I only think that Players, Coaches, and high executives can say that. I really don't think the Assistant Traveling secretary ever hit a buzzer beater.

I think this is another matter of fans that can and will say what they wish. It isn't like it is a law - set in concrete - and can be enforced. Know what I mean? ;)

It depends on the situation. Sometimes I have said "we" and sometimes I have said "they". It is something I don't even think about, as it isn't something that matters to me all that much. Again, if it was a "law", it would be different.

If someone corrected me when I said "we", I'd just smile and walk away. To each his own...know what I mean?
