Lucky Lab or Rock Bottom?

Stars Cabaret. (just kidding, just kidding...)
I prefer Rock Bottom simply because it is next to the MAX and thus easily accessible to the RG. No way in hell I am paying the ungodly parking fees at the RG or anywhere near it.
I'd offer my house for dinner but it is not very close to the Rose Garden.
Besides, I won't be there
Not going and will be 3,500 miles away but I vote Flying Pie!!!!

Dont worry I'm sure Shawn Kemp, JR Rider, and maybe even Ruben Patterson will be there for a meet and greet!

oooh good tip...I am shocked they do that on game days.
Either is fine by me. I'll follow majority on this one.

Yeh I ussually park in old town and do the same thing. Walk or take MAX across the bridge and back.
I do miss the days of living downtown on the waterfront though...I could just walk to games back then.

I think Stars is a great idea (just kidding, just kidding...). My vote is Rock Bottom, because of accessibility to MAX. Just tell me where to show up and I'll be there.
Rock Bottom Brewery
206 SW Morrison

Pub: (503) 796-BREW

What time should we meet there prior to the game??
Do any of these places have outdoor seating?

I need to park in Rose Garden garage since I'm carrying so much stuff. Maybe several people can pile into my car and we can split the cost? You'd get a sneak preview of teh cookies.

I am seriously worried about weather. We have another storm hitting the Bay Area tonight, second in 2 days. I had thought that this was late enough so I would not hit ice storms going through the mountains. Now I am not so sure. Anyone have a weather report?

IF I can get tickets to go to the game on my own, and you need help carrying stuff into the Garden, I am willing to meet up with you outside the RG and help carrying in stuff for you.
If you arrive early enough, there is parking under the former Cucina Cucina RG location. Makes pretty good quick access to RG. I don't know about cost.

Ashland, OR is expecting clouds and partial showers with 61 high 36 low. Ashland is near the pass into Oregon for you. Unless you're driving through the pass between 3-8am you should avoid any ice/snow possibilities altogether.

Also, Lucky Lab has covered but outside seating for about 40 people. One reason I suggested it. Plus they allow dogs outside, so no one would mind if Hap was hanging around with us.
Either place is fine with me. Don't you have to pay for Max just coming accross the bridge now or is fareless square still ending at the Rose Garden? Also, parking is free one block east of the Convention Center on the street. Do you think that Paul Allen would let us use the helicopter pad on top of the Rose Garden? I really hate to have to walk 5 blocks. :D
Thanks, RH&R. I don't mind if it's cold on the drive, since my car has a good heater, I just don't want to drive through the mountains in a storm. I generally arrive at Redding around noon, have a quick bite, and hit the mountains. The Redding to Ashland stretch is the worst. Once I get over Mt. Ashland I feel I'm OK. I always give the car a pat on the dashboard before Mt. Ashland to encourage it.
It would still help if a volunteer would help me carry everything inside, but we can work that out later.
