I think we're pretty much destined for the eighth seed. The Nuggets have looked like world beaters their last 30 games, and while we've picked it up lately, our remaining schedule is downright cruel.

We'll slightly lose pace with Denver but have enough in the tank to keep the Timberwolves at arm's length.

Fine by me, if a first-round matchup means Phoenix. The matchup there is much more favorable than San Antonio, healthy- or unhealthy-Timmy.
