NEW JERSEY NETS!
This is who I want to win, not who I think is going to win. The Lakers are probably going to beat them in 5 but I hope the Nets beat the hell out of them!

I am hoping the Jersey can pull something out, but the more I think about it, the less likely it seems.

My method of rooting for teams goes like this:
First and foremost, I am a Rocket fan, and root for them every year as such to win the championship. Outside of them, I root for the Mavs, as I live in Dallas and they are my second favorite team. Now, when both of them are eliminated (traditionally Houston much sooner than Dallas), then I simply root for whichever team won the last championship. To me, it means a lot more if the team I root for knocks off the reigning champ who has won for many years consecutively.
So, as a result of this credo, I am rooting for the Lakers this season. It is helpful, however, that I really do not like the Nets. I think Jason Kidd's impact on that team is GREATLY overexaggerated and Kenyon Martin is a flat out thug, and I hate cheering for thugs to win anything.

I wanted to see a Celtics/Kings playoffs, that woulda been a good series.

I was hoping for Lakers/Celtics. That's a classic relived. In the end I wanted Lakers despite opponent. So we have Lakers/Nets which ended in an easy sweep...Happy for the Lakers, yet I wish the Nets put up some competition...Could've been worse.... Kings/Nets?
