How the hell do you let CHARLIE BELL get a triple-double on you? Dude is a bum. For all that talk about Nash making it simple for anyone on his team to score, it's even SIMPLER for the guys AGAINST him.

Nash is letting that MVP trophy slip away with these performances.
He isnt a bum, but he isnt the best of the best either. He is a great playmaker, but he doesnt have much of a defensive repetoire. Hes a great pg, but this is the second year where nash is in the MVP race. People are putting him up there with Magic, Oscar, Cousey, Isiah. TO be considered there, he must have had a great career. He has had a good career at best. Before he went back to the SUns, he averaged like 5 ot 6 assists a game. Now that he is in Phoenix he automatically becomes the GOD of point guards. It doesnt work like that. Everybody who votes him MVP knows he has a good offense game and probably overlook his defense. Now i do like nash and i think he is the best pg this year, but i dont think he is the MVP nor do i think he is the best pg career wise (meaning active players right now). Career wise, nash ranks below kidd and payton. If he wins it, he will deserve it, but not because of his defense.

He isn't getting the MVP award this year anyway IMO, so saying it is slipping away might be a false statement.

The MVP is his former partner in crime, Dirk's for the taking.

Dirk should be the leading candidate based on established criteria. He will be the player to lead his team to 60 wins without another all-star on his team.
So by that count, Dirk should be ahead of Billups who is playing with 3 other all-stars, no?

I'm amazed that Billups is still a serious candidate. Theirs 3 other All-Stars on the team, and on top of that Billups while good statistically is nowhere near MVP calibur. He doesn't lead the league in assists and he averages 19ppg on like 42% shooting. If Billups was to win it over Dirk or Kobe or even Wade and Lebron that would be pretty horrible.

Who doesnt dominate Steve Nash? Ha, who doesnt Steve Nash not dominate should be more like it. We're talking about a modern day John Stockton. If Steve gets dominated, your dominater will be dominated more most likely becuz Steve is the best general in the league. He makes everybody else dominate, not to mention murdering u with his stroke. Unless ur a Spurs fan, Heat fan, Detroit fan, or a Mavs fan, and of course Suns fan, get the **** out of this thread. Cuz the rest of u teams are garbage, and cant compete with the elite. Stupid thread.

So if the other teams are "garbage", fans can't go post anywhere? Besides, by your logic (which I have a hard time following), Charlie Bell was dominated by Nash, which clearly isn't the case.

Well, for one Nash can't do anything about Charlie getting 13 rebounds.

And also, you guys are failing to realize that the Suns system is what allows guards to "dominate" Nash.

Bucks weren't expected to win against the Suns. So, what do they do? They chuck up every shot they got and that particular night they happened to be on fire.

Also, Bell getting 11 assist is mostly do to throwing the ball to Redd who was 30 feet out and on fire.

Get a grip guys.

LOL Suns fans are not taking 2 *** kickings in a row very well. Jason Kidd just completely dominated Nash the other day.

I can see what your saying, with players putting up nice numbers against Nash yes he isnt a good defender but every1 knows that but as SunsFan57 said it also has 2 do with the Suns system. However night in and night out this season Nash has dominated other point guards. He put up 27 points and 6 dimes against Kidd, 31 points 9 assists 8 rebounds and the list goes on and on. Phoenix need Kurt Thomas, without KT they must double maybe even tripple team the big players as the suns are without size and this leaves the perimeter wide open. Watch the video of the Suns v Bucks b4 the Bucks got insanely hot and credit to them they were hittin 3's over defenders at the end, but look at how many open shots they were given from Nash or Diaw and Marion having to block out and guard the tall player.
