Sure Tims got as complete a game as anyone in the ealgue, but he is SOOOOOOOO BORING!
Seriously, he has absolutely no charisma. No personality. He seems shy on the court but he need to get over it!

Yeah I hate him too because he is boring...But he is also a great offensive player. Has good post moves and good range for a big man. Really worked hard to improve his free-throw percentage. Has good size and strength for a power forward. Very good defensive player. Also in the top of the list for blocks. One of the best rebounders in the NBA. Good team player. Not a ball-hog and still very young.

There is no doubt that Duncan is one of the top 5 players in basketball(#2 in my opinion, behind only SHaq). I don't care how boring he is, im sure almost any bball fan would want him on their team if they could get him, because hes a tremendous player that can single-handedly keep a team in the top of the best conference in the league. Just look at the spurs roster and imagine how bad they would be without Duncan. A player should not be criticized for being boring if they can produce great results.

I think he's the best player in the league right now. Unlike alot of player sin the league, he's mentally stable and doesn't let outside forces get to him. He's always focused.

I definitely don't hate Duncan, but I do agree that he is boring, which sort of makes the Spurs boring too. He's a good player though, good all-around big man.

I really don't think that Tim is borin I think it is just that the Spurs are boring. Seriously Would the Lakers be fun to watch without Kobe not really you gotta than say that Shaq is boring also.
Plus look at the spurs line up through in a tremendous athlete that can score and really through it down and the spurs are no longer boring.

tim duncan isd on a road to becoming a basketball version of Phil Mickelson, anyone who watches major championship golf(although i doubt there are many on this board) know that while mickelson will play it cool with the press after h just misses out again on winning a major, you know he just wants to go o his hotel room and hang himself with hte bedsheets, duncan had that same look on his face after about every game of the western conference semis, you can tell losing just kills the dude.

His team is a little boring-but he is a great player-top 3 for sure. I would rather have a somewhat boring team that wins(spurs) over an exciting team that loses. (clippers)

here's why you should like him

Duncan is the best big man in basketball.
I'm a laker fan and I give prop to Shaq, but Big Tim can do it all.
He shoots, rebounds, defends, run the floor, has great court awareness, and he is a perennial all league performer.
Once he gets out of San An, dont be surprised if he finds his way back to the finals!

Even though Tim Duncan is boring, like everyone says, he is a great person and basketball player. He can do everything you want a PF to do. Also, he is a good role model for staying in college four years, when he could of been a top pick if he came out early except is freshman year. Its funny how the most dominant players in the league (Duncan and Shaq) both went to college four years, yet a lot of kids still come out early.

I went to Shaqs official site, and it says he only went to LSU three years. But, I remember when the Clippers drafted Olowokandi, they were talking about how him, duncan, and O'neal were the last picks in the last ten years to be picked first that graduated from college. Shaq must of transfered or something.

Yeah, its just shocking how he plays the game hard, doesn't buy into all the BS that others find themselves in and acts like a gentleman on the floor at all times. Just a terrible example for everyone. Give me Rasheed Wallace any time.
