I see many mocks, and even in my mock, I have drew gooden as a Cav. I am wondering on how Cavs fans think of Drew Gooden would be a possible member of the team.
Will Drew be a good fit?

I am not a fan of the Cav's especially but I love the NBa and everything about it. Gooden would be a good running mate to accompany Andre Miller, providing he stays. With those two and Ricky Davis emerging as a good player the Cav's might do somewhat decent.

My feeling is no
I personally think Gooden will be a good fit for someone, but not Cleveland. But if you are the same Kansasalum from a differnet forum, I think we had this conversation over there... you feel he is a more physical player than I do.
My hope is that Butler drops, and they move Lamond Murray in a trade, but this seems unlikely.
So my 2nd hope is they take Wilcox. I wanna see shades of Karl Malone and Stockton in Wilcox and Andre for the next 8 years.

then we trade miller,mihm and murray to clips for odom,miles,8,12 and then we get butler,wagner or wilcox and hilario then we got a real good young lineup

The reality of Dre being here for much longer is no more than a dream. Cavs management doesn't want to shell out the money he deserves and it will most likely result in us moving him sometime soon, if not on draft day.
As far as Gooden goes he would be a solid fit. He isn't the banger that Wilcox is but he is much more polished offensively and as just a good of rebounder as Chris. I would also love to see the Cavs acquire Wagner in a deal for Dre. His scoring ability would definitely provide us w/ some pop on the offensive end, something we desperately need. Unloading Murray would be sweet, and I think that packaging him w/ Dre would definitely get him out of Cleveland. Both Davis and Jones deserve big minutes at SF, and they will get it providing Murray and his 4 year contract is traded away.
