Williams is averaging eight points and almost five rebounds per contest, and while those numbers are far from overwhelming, this year's rookie class isn't all that strong and Williams is easliy among the 10 best.
Williams has really been the second best rookie forward this season behind Villaneuva (counting Bogut as a center), and the only thing keeping him out of all rookie first team is the fact that there is a nice crop of guards who deserve to make that lineup ahead of him. So he should be all rookie second team.
Yup, legendary year for point guards, especially in comparison to next.Lebbron said:Wow, the PG's in this draft are so much deeper than the rest. These have been 8 rookie PG's who have started games this year (Jarret Jack, Nate Robinson, Calderon, Paul, Sarunas, Felton, Deron, Head) and then Salim who I'm not sure if he's started but he's given big minutes.
His numbers have practically been identical to Williams' numbers so it could be said that he's had a better season.Dee-Zy said:No Granger?
