Assuming Minnesota T-Wolves owner Glenn Taylor decides to keep Garnett, will they regret this down the raod when they can rebuild right now with some younger and fresher legs? Also in your opinion is it better to trade KG and for who?

Basketball heads..please discuss.

I think they should, they have KG and a bunch of players incapable of winning games. they need to do the washington deal (jamison+butler+filler for KG) tis summer or get steph back in minny. if they don't do either of those, minnesota is screwed.(I said steph because their roster seems incapable of being traded for anyone or combination of players that are better than him, plus KG is one of the few players in the NBA that benefits from a ball dominating PG

what young fresher heads would you get?

This years draft is weak, and even a young star like Paul, I'm not even sure that the Hornets would give him up for KG although he's not as good. (yet anyways)

yes trade KG, KG deserves to move on, and also, the twolves would be better off w/o him, getting more better players and are young, they would win more games, even they said it for themselves, they have a hard time building around KG.

Sorry, horribly off topic but who is that in your avatar? It looks like it could be a young Ben Wallace.

How much different would they be without KG?

They would be a lottery team that would not even threaten for the playoffs...which is what they are now. Except if they traded KG there would be some hope for the future, cap relief, and better draft picks.

Instead of trading for Marbury they should trade KG to NY for expiring contracts, prospects and picks.

KG/Blount/Jaric for Jalen/MoTaylor/Frye/Lee/Robinson/NY's two 2006 1st round picks/2008 1st rounder

KG is the franchise. A franchise player should not be traded in any matter.
while kg is a franchise player, minnesota is only a franchise in the broadest sense of the term.
