They've lost 9 straight.

They can probably win a 12th, but still get 70 losses. Uhh... Go Hawks!

Man, screw short-term results. Last year we HAD Howard and then we played strong at the end, and we ended up with Childress. Now, Howard is a consensus franchise player. I'm not about to let the same thing happen with Bogut.

Most teams with the most ping-pong balls and a normal (or worse) amount of luck don't pick first, so you might have to "settle" for a PG.

From 1991-2002 the team with the most ping-pong balls or tied for the most didn't pick first (admittedly with special circumstances for Toronto and Vancouver). Orlando has Pat Williams and Cleveland... well, it's self-evident.

Yeah, Atlanta has terrible lottery luck.

We were one lottery ball away from LeBron, and a few too many Bobby Sura triple doubles away from Dwight Howard.

Whoever it is.. Chris Paul, Andrew Bogut, Marvin Williams, Deron Williams, Gerald Green, Reymond Felton.. I feel any of those picks can make us better, and the future brighter.

BTW, right after you posted this we barely lost to a playoff Washington team @ Washington. Oh so close.
