Williams, Boone, or Armstrong?

Who would be better for the team?

Shelden Williams is the most physically imposing but is sort of mechanical.

Josh Boone is probably the more athletic of the the 3 and very strong but his offensive game hasn't come around yet.

Hilton Armstrong is a better passer, a very good shot blocker and an underrated scorer.

.....who's better for the Cavs and why?

I choose none of the above :)
Boone would be a good alternative if we lose Gooden. Their games are similar. Boone needs to get a few more pounds of muscle. But the same can be said for a lot of college players (Aldridge, Noah)..
I wouldn't count on him for much offense, but he can catch Bron's quick passes and finish strong. He's also an intimidating shot blocker.

Williams is a solid all-around big man. He could provide some of the strength that we are missing inside. He will never be as athletic as Gooden or even Varejao, but he has that MEAN streak that we are missing down low. He might be the next good DUKE big man. He's More like Brand, Boozer, and Gminski -- Less like Ferry, Laetner, and Cherokee Parks.

I don't know a lot about Armstrong. What I read is interesting. I guess he didn't stand out to me in the UConn games that I saw.
I think Hilton Armstrong might actually be a good fit.
Why even waste a first round pick on a position that all that is required of is, rebounding, and the ability to catch and dunk. I think if you have decent hands, and rebound, playing with Lebron at the four, you are guaranteed to be a double double threat every night.
I think Armstrong is the most athletic of the 3. His game translates very well as a role player. He has soft hands and quick hops, he can actually catch and finish with a dunk, an area where Boone has struggled and where Shelden may be too short. His midrange jumper looks fluid and his free throw stroke has improved dramatically. He's a true shotblocker, which is something the Cavs don't have. I like him a lot, he'd be a good pick for the Cavs.

I wuz thinkin the same thing about Hilton Armstrong.
I think Shelden is the best out of the group, but Boone will not end up being bad.
