cavs get screwed big time. giving up davis and miller for j. white and rip isnt my idea of building toward the future. i would understand if either of them have a big contract but neither do. this trade is completely unfair for cleveland.

I think you guys are seriously overestimating Andre Miller's trade worth, and underestimating Rip Hamilton. If the Cavs dont pull off a trade, he likely walks next year as a free agent. Latest rumors for a Cavs/Clipps trade have Andre Miller going to the Clips for Darius Miles and Harold Jamison, for god's sake (unnamed third team involved).

As far as building towards the future, thats exactly what they would be doing. Rip is a real 2, unlike the backcourt midgets the Cavs have right now, and they dont have any centers who arent gimps. And both players are young.

But if you want to live in la-la land, thats cool.

I think that you overestimate the interest in a one dimensional player like Rip Hamilton. I would prefer Davis to him. By the way Miller is a RESTRICTED free agent next year unrestricted in two. Don't like that deal at all would prefer the one with the Clips.

I would keep davis and ask for wizards 1st round pick next year and jared jefferies.
