The current state of the Bulls may be as close to rock bottom as you can get. They may have equaled the win total of the strike-shortened season and are just a few wins away from climbing out of the all-time Bulls cellar. But they have now completely lost any momentum of the championship years. Jordan has come out of retirement, played two seasons, and retired again. This team is by far the worst team in Bulls history because we no longer care. There is interest in watching this team grow or rebuild again. Rebuilding is not the answer. This team should be contracted.

Yesterday's game says otherwise but we have to go .500 from here on out to equal last year's total.

No way. It had to be the Bulls of 1999-2000, Brand/Artest's rookie year. Matt Maloney started 12 games, Hersey Hawkins was our major offseason acquisition, Chris Carr was our third leading scorer, after Artest and Brand. That was a horrific team. Dedric Willoughby had 25 games with us that year. Chris Anstey played in 73 games, second most games played on the team after Brand's 81 games.

Corey Benjamin, Dickey Simpkins, Rusty LaRue, and Will Purdue rounded out the bench.

That team was far worse than our present one.
