Scottie Pippen just flip flopped. Said the Nets will beat the heat in a series. But of course Screaming A said there is no way.

LOL, if the nets win the playoff series against the heat, SAS will have to wear the tie that he has always made fun of, the salmon color tie of Greg Anthony's FOR EVERY TELECAST NEXT SEASON!!!
That other screaming guy is retarded.I dont know how they hire that fool.He is terrible.

ya, I don't understand SAS... We beat the Heat 4 games (for what I'm concerned, that one that we lost counts as a win for us because of the refs)
SAS=Knick fan and even if we had the All Star Team's line up instead of what we have, h'd still say we'd lose.

LOUD NOISES!!!
These guys should finalize their thoughts and put everything in writing. The way they insult a team one day and then praise it the next day makes them lose their credibility. Their indecisions and vacillations make them look stupid.

Their job is to tell their opinions, which will obviously change frequently throughout a season. If you asked me before this run, I'd say the Nets would have little chance at beating the Heat because they simply do not play well. Now, assuming they can keep this pace going, things are very different. I haven't listened to everything that has been said on ESPN, but it all honesty it's the Nets play that has changed. Then that changed opinions. It would be just as, if not more, stupid to ignore the run and continue to say they'll get slaughtered in the playoffs.
Everyone is changing their minds about the Nets. They are winning respect around the league.

I understand what you mean. A change in opinion over a long period of time is acceptable. But to say one thing and then totally contradict in a few days is less acceptable to me. I believe it was just this weekend (or a few days ago) that Pippen was saying that the Nets had no chance against the Heat. And then he says otherwise a few days later. Like what I said, changing minds and opinions is acceptable as nothing is permanent except change. But to totally contradict what you earlier said in just a few days is just laughable.

Pippen,Legler.......Bandwagoners and hypocrits

Greg Anthony is one of few analyst, who has been consistent with his predictions.

On that note, I agree. If he said it a few days ago, that's crazy. Maybe he saw the way the Nets played against...scratch that...shut down the Heat and that changed his mind?

lol, he'd have more if they would let me rep him again.

Thanks for acknowledging that.

Yes, I guess that game alone changed his mind. Thats the thing that I didn't like. Some analysts make changes in their perceptions and forecasts after citing several reasons over a period of weeks or a month. But to change considerably over a few days makes that person lose his credibility, in my opinion.

I personally think that the Heat vs Nets games in the playoff is really going to go down the wire. Its not a sure thing for either team. Although of course the way they have met in this season somehow gives the "psychological" advantage or edge to the Nets, there are a lot of things which may affect the final outcome. Experience, stamina, injuries, mentality... so many factors come into play. It will definitely be exciting though.
