Your dream Nets team

Using Kidd, VC, RJ, and Nenad as the core team who would you add around them for your perfect team. Try to be semi-reasonable and creative. Avoid adding another superstar like Duncan, Shaq or KG. Keep in my mind that you want your back-ups to be happy being back-ups, otherwise it wouldn't be a very ideal dream team. So past experience as a back-up would be best.

This is not trade dependent. Just for fun.

My team would be:

PG: Kidd, Mike James
SG: VC, Raja Bell, Planinic
SF: RJ, Nocioni
PF: Okafor, McDyess, Horry
C: Krstic, Collins

PG: Kidd, Mo Williams
SG: VC, Juan Dixon
SF: RJ, Marvin Williams
PF: Big Ben, Marshall
C: Krstic, Przybilla

So, your dream team doesnt include Lamond Murray?
Uh..no, I think we could find a way to live w/o him

1 - Kidd, McInnis (guy has a lot of potential)
2 - Carter, Zoran, Wright
3 - Jefferson, Donyell Mashall
4 - Troy Murphy, McDyess, Vladimir Radmanovic
5 - Krstic, Marcus Camby

 I dunno if that's even close to possible, but this is a dream Nets team right?
I don't think the Radman would be happy as the 3rd string PF. Same with Camby backing up Krstic. I love the idea of Camby along side Krstic.

C - Nenad Krstic/Chris Mihm
PF - Dwight Howard/Stromile Swift
SF - Jefferson/Bruce Bowen (sorry Vince)
SG - Vince Carter/Ben Gordon
PG - Jason Kidd/Deron Williams
Thats real nice. I love Howard.

Id take Okafor at Center over Mihm though.

Imagine a roation of Krstic/Howard/Okafor

I was concerned about the Radman on 3rd string too, but I think all of those players are pretty interchangable so it'd be more like 5 guys playing two positions than 3 guys playing 1 and 2 guys playing 1. Also with that crew, it's a near certainty that one of them will be injured at some point or another so it'd probably be more like 4 guys at any one time playing 2 positions.

I'd love Dalembert but keeping in Krstic here's mine...

PG: Kidd, Bobby Jackson, Luther Head
SG: VC, Ben Gordon
SF: RJ, Josh Smith
PF: Rasheed, Croshere, Shawn Kemp
C: Krstic, Etan Thomas

#19 ·
PG: Jason Kidd, Mike James
SG: Vince Carter, Jason Kidd, Shane Battier
SF: Richard Jefferson, Shane Battier
PF: Ben Wallace, Scott Padgett
C: Nenad Krstic, Jason Collins

I only went 9 deep. Adding 3 players.

I see you've come to appreciate Bogut. I thought you mentioned he would be a bust around draft time? Or am I mixing you up with someone else?
You've got me confused with someone else. I've been on the Bogut bandwagon since the Summer Olympics.

I've said many times that in a few years, the 3 best centers in the NBA will be Dwight Howard, Bogut & Krstic
