Is Phil really a great coach, maybe the best ever or does he just have boatloads of talent.
I feel he's a great coach cause it took him before MJ ever won a title. And lets just say that Kobe and Shaq weren't exactly the best of friends before Phil came to LA.

I think he is a good "organizer" but as far as teaching the game, I don't think he is great.

Remember, I am a Bulls fan and I'm just being honest....

Probably a bit of both. You have to have the horses in order to win the race, bt you also have to guide them on the way.

He has two thoroughbreds in Shaq and Kobe, but he has managed to harness their skill and produce a few championships of the back of it. Hence, he is a good coach
