Uvm recruits some big euros in soccer. They seem to prioritize size overseas. Phillip Kuhn is a SO has an overseas college year under his belt I guess but is second in the team in goals/points. They did a great job recruiting young overseas players. There’s a few difference makers.

They're also grown ass men (he's 22) who got experience playing against fellow grown ass men in competitive environments (he played in the 4th division of German soccer for a semi-pro teams against teams that have aspirations to get back into the pro ranks via promotion) a lot sooner than the average US/Canadian-born player. I think the coaches do a nice job of mixing the older European players with the younger North American guys. Dow is really just a master at adapting and adjusting to new team-building techniques, while staying true to what their prototype is for their program.
