I have to admit, my Duncan DeMuth radar is going off a little with Ducharme. For a guy that was so heavily recruited, that “heard from” list isn’t exactly Murderer’s Row. He’s only been out there a couple of days, but still. That said, I do generally trust this staff’s talent evaluation.

6'8 talented Junior College prospect Angelo Winkel updates me about his recruitment. Offers: Weber State, Green Bay, Drexel, Portland State, Southern Indiana, EIU, Cal Poly Interests: UAlbany, Jax State, South Dakota, ORU, North Dakota, Penn, NAU, Maine, Liberty & SEMO

Looks like his name is actually Triston, not Tanner. Grad transfer. 6’5”. 39.8% from three. Majored in engineering and physics. Think we could probably find a useful grad degree for him in Orono.

Pissis tells me that he’s hearing from the following: New Hampshire Cal State Northridge Central Michigan Tennessee Tech Nicholls State Grambling State Radford UMass Lowell Lindenwood

With Bessette coming in as another walk-on I'm sure the reality set in for some of these guys but also, not sure I've known a UVM team to have 4 walk-ons(?)

Jenkins told

that he’s recently been hearing from multiple D1 & D2 programs, including: New Hampshire Maine Holy Cross Ohio Dominican (D2) Roberts Wesleyan (D2) Winona State (D2) Minnesota State-Moorhead (D2) Catawba (D2) Emmanuel (D2) Converse (D2) Bemidji State (D2) Saint Michael’s (D2) Walsh (D2) Arkansas Tech (D2) Millersville (D2) Lake Erie (D2) Fort Lewis (D2) Northwest Nazarene (D2) Oklahoma Wesleyan (NAIA) Florida College (NAIA) Pikeville (NAIA) Missouri Baptist (NAIA)

This isn't quite reaching "Bryant offering high schoolers level" but I am at this point declaring personal amnesty on researching all the transfers Maine is linked with until we get shortlisted at least.

I count seven returning scholarship players (Tynes, Burns, Clayton, Lopez, Steele, Carey, Bonilla). No incoming freshmen recruits, so a wide net to find 5-6 transfers makes sense. I'll just trust the process until we hear anything more concrete.
