While it undoubtedly is funny given the saga around his recruitment last offseason, the average UVM fan, who is not online won't have the slightest clue who Jaylon Young is because he never played for UVM and many are checked out on offseason news outside a very small subsection, so it does very little to ramp up any rivalry with Bryant.

Short answer to why he has another year, anyone who played non-NCAA ball (JC, NAIA) was given a blanket extra year due to the Diego Pavia ruling. Since he did a year of JC, he in theory gets that waiver.

Haven’t seen it mentioned, but Binghamton has reportedly been in contact with NJIT transfer Levi Lawal.

Had a nice freshmen season, took a little bit of a step back last year. Would be a welcomed addition for the Bearcats though, as the front court needs another body.

Is "dunks made" an actual stat?

Because that would imply that "dunks missed" would also be a stat and I'd be kinda curious to see that one...
It is a stat and it can be checked. I do not know the easiest place to find it, but they are listed on the barttorvik.com site. last year Earl Timberlake went 13-17 for dunks last year.

Nice late addition for Bryant; must have some $$$ burning a hole in their 2025 pockets. Saw Tabales play in HS before he went to New Hampton. Game is similar to Aaron Deloney, but a taller version.

Opting in means you get 15 basketball scholarships now right? I believe this addition and Lenny Weber a week ago brings Bryant from 13 to 15 scholarships. I’m assuming all the extra listed were walk ons that are going to not be a part of the team.

It doesn't seem a huge add at the moment, but it seems that Albany has also added Miles Rose from St. Bonaventure. You never know though.

Didn't play much there, appeared in 15 games, averaged 3.7 minutes last year. Held offers originally from Siena, Bryant, Albany, UMBC, and the Bonnies. Kid is a 6'4" guard from Rochester, NY so sorta local. No idea if he will play much, but definitely could help.
